The Power of Giving: Meet Nick Obino, Founder of Cravers Foundation

 

Nick Obino is a man who has dedicated his life to giving back to his community. 

Raised in the slums of Mathare constituency, he witnessed the magnitude of suffering among the underprivileged people in his neighborhood.

This experience inspired him to start doing charity work in 2014, and he hasn't stopped since then. Nick is the founder of Cravers Foundation, a charity foundation aimed at helping the less fortunate people in society.

Nick's charity work started at Maseno University, where he organized fellow students to donate clothing, food, and non-food items to children's homes. He was inspired to start doing charity work by a late friend, Stella Muhia, who also loved doing charity. Nick's passion for charity work grew as he continued to see the impact it had on the lives of those he helped.

Nick's charity work is driven by his deep empathy for those in need. He believes that the most important thing about giving is the love that goes into it. As he puts it, "It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving." For Nick, charity work is a way of showing love and compassion to those who need it most. He has seen firsthand the difference it can make in someone's life.

As Nick says, "I may not be able to change the world on my own, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples."
